Basics:
Name: Keyleth
Also known as: Kiki, Keyleth of the Air Ashari
Age: 23
Height: 6'

Appearance: Fair skin, long red/orange hair, emerald eyes. Always wears a druidic circlet in the shape of antlers and carries a twisted wood staff topped with a green crystal.

Currently alternating between her starter attire or post-Pyrah attire (art credits to thewwe4).

Personality: Keyleth's defining traits are her strong moral compass, which causes her to often question Vox Machina's more extreme decisions and often leads her to impulsive actions when others are in danger, and her social ineptitude. Due to her sheltered upbringing, she is shy when interacting with others and her self-doubt - both in her abilities and in her future responsibility as leader of the Ashari - becomes apparent. She tends to focus more on her mistakes than her accomplishments. However, she is slowly gaining confidence in herself, especially after completing the fire trial for her Aramente in Pyrah.

History:
Keyleth's Intro
"A first impression of Keyleth would leave you with little information on the half-elven druid. You might even think that her social awkwardness, due to her sheltered upbringing, is... kind of sweet. Of course, it would be unwise to underestimate her based on first impressions. Under that unintimidating petite frame is a vicious beast waiting to be unleashed, whose natural powers have made even the fiercest of champions pee their pants. Literally.

Born to the air tribe of the Ashari people, Keyleth was raised with a deep love of nature and the elemental magics. It is her people's inherent duty to protect the delicate areas in Tal'Dorei, where the four elemental planes begin to bleed with this realm. Since she was a little girl, she had quite a knack for air manipulation and beast shaping abilities; well, if you consider kittens and flying squirrels to be little beasts, which I do. Anyways, it wasn't long before the headmaster of the tribe, her father, Korrin, realized her true prodigious abilities and she was inveterated to succeed him as the next headmaster. Just like that, her jovial childhood was stripped and replaced with endless spell memorization, teachings from ancient traditions, and exceedingly high expectations.

Every druid leader-to-be must embark on a journey to seek out the sister tribes in order to introduce and establish respect amongst the fellow headmasters. They call this the Aramenté, or Noble Odyssey. When her father felt she was ready, he set her on the path to truly discovering herself. Not knowing when, or if, she will ever return. As she hikes down the mountain towards Stilben, she meditated on the task ahead. Part of the Aramenté is proving yourself a strong warrior, a valiant protector, and a wise and compassionate leader. With this knowledge, one thought plays in repeat in her mind: is she even worthy?"

(Important Note: Most events and canon for this journal are taken from the Vox Machina show, less from Critical Role's first campaign.)

Abilities:

WildShape: Like most druids, Keyleth is able to transform into different animals. Her most common wildshape is in the form of a white saber-tooth tiger, though she has been shown to transform into birds and more docile animals as well (most of her wildshapes, with the exception of her saber-tooth tiger, retain some form of "antlers" along with the transformation).

Elemental Magics: As one of the Ashari, Keyleth can manipulate the elements, most noticeably of earth, water, wind, and fire. This can be a direct manipulation of already existing elements (such as utilizing the water from a lake or forming rocky shields with rough terrain) or a creation of these elements (she is able to summon flame without it being present in a scene, for example).

Fire Resistance: As shown during her fire trial in Pyrah, Keyleth is able to resist negative side effects from coming into contact with fire (even such magics that would be deadly to others). However, this is also dependent on her mental state at the time (she needs to consciously choose her mindset - that fire cannot harm her).

Healing: While not as adept as clerics at healing, Keyleth is shown to have some understanding of healing arts, especially if the healing occurs with natural elements (such as mixing herbs).
